The inscription, printed in dark blue ink, in the centre reads VICTORIAN BOWLING ASSOCIATION / PENNANT COMPETITIONS / SEASON 1915-1916 / FOUR RINK / "A" PENNANT / WON BY / M.C.C. BOWLING CLUB. This is followed by a list of players, and the signatures of the President and Secretary of the Victorian Bowling Association in light gold ink.
