Brief Description
Black and white press photograph taken during the third Ashes Test match at the MCG in January 1947. The picture shows three female spectators using cardboard and clothing to take cover from the rain. A slip of paper on the reverse has a hand-written caption identifying the women. Other writing is scrawled on the back of the photo and there is also an ink stamp from "The Argus" newspaper.
