Brief Description
Black and white photograph mounted on heavy white card. Shows group portrait of a cricket team, comprising 12 men, dressed in cricket whites. They are positioned in three rows; standing, seated and reclining, with trees in the background. The inscription, in bold black ink above, reads AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM / CANADIAN-AMERICAN TOUR 1932. The names of the players are printed in a scroll below the photograph, with an advertisement reading WEARING / "GOLDEN FLEECE" CABLE STITCH SWEATERS / PRESENTED BY THE MANUFACTURERES / AUSTRALIAN KNITTING MILLS LTD. Two cartoon drawings feature on either side of the photograph. Attached to the mount on the reverse is a folding stand enabling it to be propped upright.
