Brief Description
An image of English cricketer Tom Hayward - portrayed in a Vanity Fair Supplement - in whites, batting gloves and brown Surrey jacket and cap. The artist's name - Spy - is printed lower left. A piece of paper adhered to the item reads 'Yours faithfully/ Tom Hayward/ late Surrey XI'. The image is captioned "Tom". Hayward played 35 Tests for England between 1895/96 and 1909. He was Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1895.
