Brief Description
Group photograph of the Australian cricket team during the 1890 tour of England with J. McC Blackham inscription verso. Fourteen men are pictured, eleven wearing whites with blazers and caps featuring the Australian crest. They are posed outdoors, in front of a tree and tall brick wall. The photograph is mounted on card, with the photographer's details printed below. On the reverse is a handwritten inscription by J.M. Blackham, describing the occasion, a match between Australia and Staffordshire on 3-4 July at Stoke-on-Trent.
