Brief Description
Team photograph showing eleven cricketers in front of a tent, with industrial buildings in the background. The men are wearing cricket whites, and most have striped blazers and caps. The subject of the photograph - the Australian eleven at Malton, North Yorkshire in July 1880 - is explained in a handwritten inscription by John Blackham on the reverse of the mount. Also listed are the names of the sitters.
