Brief Description
Group photograph of the Australian cricket team that toured England in 1882. The picture shows thirteen men wearing a variety of clothing, and posed in various attitudes: five are standing, six are sitting on chairs and two are reclining. Nine wear cricket whites, and the others are wearing suits - two with top hats and two with bowler hats. The photograph is mounted on cream-coloured card, and the names of the sitters are hand-written on the reverse, under the heading "3rd Australian Eleven / Sussex 1882".
