Brief Description
Dark finished cricket bat, which is straight bladed with only a left shoulder. The unspliced handle is slightly curved and bound in twine, with the thick blade having a ridged back and flaring towards base. The yellow label adhered to front reads STRAIGHT & UNSPLlCED / LEFT SHOULDER ONLY / 1776-1790 and the stamp on top of the handle reads MASON / PADDINGTON.
