Brief Description
Badge, circular filigree. It is made from gold metal and is painted in red, white and blue. It has a central monogram in red and white, surrounded by a blue inscribed ring. It has a pin clasp on the back. Inscription on front reads "MCC / PATRIOTIC CARNIVAL 1917"; and on back: "STOKES & SONS, MELB". This badge was sold at the 1917 Melbourne Cricket Club Patriotic Carnival held at the MCG to raise money for the troops fighting in WWI.
