Brief Description
Presentation cricket bat, with spliced blade and twine bound handle covered with black rubber grip. Featured on the reverse is a hand-painted, coloured illustration of an Australian Digger, smoking. The inscription above reads 2ND AIF XI / 3RD M.D. XI, with the signatures of the players from both teams below. The maker's mark ROBERT M CROCKETT & SON / MELBOURNE is imprinted on the front of the blade.
