Mounted cricket ball. The ball is mounted on a metal-like plastic base which is in turn mounted on a circular tiered black plastic stand. There is an engraved sterling silver plaque fixed to the stand (the silver plaque was originally fixed to the ball which was not mounted). Inscription on plaque reads: 'PRESENTED TO/LINDSAY KLINE/FOR PERFORMING A HAT TRICK IN THE SECOND TEST/AUSTRALIA Vs. SOUTH AFRICA/PLAYED AT NEWLANDS, CAPE TOWN/3RD JANUARY, 1958.' There are some faded Australian signatures and ball maker imprints on the back of the ball.
