Brief Description
Cricket bat with sealed, spliced blade and twine bound, rubber grip handle. The maker's mark, Stuart Surridge & Co., is stamped on the front of the blade. The reverse has been signed, in ink, by members of the English Cricket Team, with Jack Hobbs' (cricketer) signature by the right shoulder, dated 1920/21.
