Brief Description
Book with brown cloth cover and black leather covered spine, with gold text embossed on the front reading, "THE / AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN / 1905". Inside the book are pages with handwritten scoresheets of matches between the Australian XI and various teams around the British Isles in 1905. Stuck, with glue, onto pages at the front and back of the book are newspaper clippings which refer to the tour and cricketers on it. A handwritten note on the first page reads, "Presented to Joe Darling by his fellow players of the Australia XI after their tour in England in 1905".
