Brief Description
Cricket bat used by Belinda Clark during the Australian Women’s Cricket Team Ashes Tour to England, August – September 2005. Wooden cricket bat with rubber grip. Front of bat has a plastic coating over surface with logo of manufacturer and text printed in black, grey, silver and white. Logo has the image of a black panther and the text "Slazenger/V/99.9/SELECT/ENGLISH WILLOW". The word "Slazenger" and the image of a black panther appears along both the right and left sides of the bat. On the back of the bat at the top is there is an image of a black panther and the text "Slazenger V 99.9". In the centre there appears the image of a panther. At the bottom appears the text "SELECT ENGLISH WILLOW".
