Loius Gysler won the title of World's Championship Motor-cycle Derby on 16 February 1928 by gaining the most aggregate points over a series of 4 meetings at the Melbourne Motordrome on his solo 350cc Motosacoche. He also competed in Side Car events on a 1000cc Motosacoche on which it appears he is sitting on this postacard.
