Brief Description
Sepia photograph of an 18-man (+ 1 other, coach?) football team seated and standing in 4 rows. They wear long-sleeved guernseys with vertical stripes (one man wears a lace-up jerkin over his), and have a shield to either side of the front row, bearing an image of a magpie standing on a football, which has the dates '1886(?) & 1902/ 1903' written on it. Photo has been affixed onto a dark brown card mount, with a piece of yellowed paper in between. A partial "The 'Allan' Studio" label is on the reverse, along with a handwritten note "Rec'd from Peter Boo- (obscured)/ 1.12.84/ originally from W O- (obscured)".
