Brief Description
Pamphlet printed on four sides of a folded sheet of paper. The front bears a black and white photograph of Arthur Pearce (footballer) dressed in military uniform, with the inscription AUSTRALIASIAN WAR LEAFLETS, NO. 18 / AN AUSTRALIAN HERO / CORPORAL A.M. ("JOE") PEARCE. Type written on the following pages, under the heading A FAMOUS "LEAGUE" PLAYER / PLAYS THE GREATER GAME, is an obituary and dedication to the memory of Pearce, who died at Gallipoli in 1915.
