Brief Description
Photographic reproduction of a print depicting the Grand Jubilee cricket match which was played on 10 July 1837 at Lords Cricket Ground to commemorate 50 years of the Marylebone Cricket Club. The print is an oval shape with inscriptions running round the border. In the centre, a cricket match is taking place involving the standard 11 fielders, 2 batsmen and 2 umpires. Around the pitch are seated spectators and in the background is an oversized flag - quartered with the union jack in the top-right. Written on the flag is "J. H. DARK / CRICKET GROUND / LORDS".
