Brief Description
The design is a simplification of the 2018 Essendon Bombers Indigenous Round guernsey. The original design was by Tiwi footballer Arthurina Moreen, who was 18 at the time. This guernsey keeps only the diagonal line motifs, which represents the elders who taught Moreen to paint. Recognised as Australia’s first ever Indigenous team to compete in a state-wide competition, the jumper celebrates the Tiwi culture. It is not match worn.
