Brief Description
Victorian Croquet Association (VCA) deputy manager badge, owned by Alice Munro from the 1934-1935 croquet season. Badge features separate banner with the words "DEPUTY MANAGER" in white enamel attached by a single link to a circular medallion. The medallion features a gold silhouette of a figure holding a torch and flame, and who is riding a horse. The words "THE VICTORIAN CROQUET ASSOCIATION" surrounds the edge in gold lettering on a blue background. The bottom edge read "CENTENARY YEAR / 1934 - 35", in gold lettering on a red background. Manufacturers mark stamped on verso, "STCK???? / MELBOURNE". Pin and clasp mechanism.
