Brief Description
Green wool Australian Cricket Team blazer issued to Bill Johnston. Blazer features Australian coat of arms embroidered on the breast pocket above the dates 1947-48. Single gold stripes are sewn around the sleeve cuffs and near the top of the breast pocket and both side pockets. A single brass button remains along the right side with evidence that two buttons are missing. Inside features a makers tag inscribed with "FARMER'S/ SYDNEY" and a handwritten inscription below which reads "W. JOHNSTON". The inner sleeves are lined with white and blue pinstriped fabric.
