Brief Description
Melbourne Football Club membership card for the 1927 season, issued to M W G Dunbar. Folded card has a dark blue cloth exterior with gold embossed lettering which reads, "MELBOURNE/ FOOTBALL/ CLUB/ SEASON 1927" on the front and features a red leather football design in the center. Back is embossed with a shield and reads, "PREMIERS/ M.F.C./ 1926". White paper interior includes list of MFC office bearers and matches for the 1927 season including dates, opponents and grounds. Member number 1075 has been stamped on the left side and "MELBOURNE/ F.C. 1927." has been stamped in the center, both in red ink. Right edge is numbered and has been punched for the matches attended.
