Brief Description
Cricket bat with sealed, spliced blade and twine-bound handle covered with black rubber grip. The maker's mark, "B WARSOP / MARYLEBONE", has been stamped on the front of the blade, near the shoulder, with the signatures, in ink, of members of the Australian and English Cricket Teams below. The reverse of the bat has been signed by Sidney Barnes (cricketer) by the right shoulder, above what appears to be a very faded caricature.
