Brief Description
Black and white photograph of cricket team. Fourteen men can be seen in front of an ivy-covered brick building, one row standing and the other seated. Image is mounted on brown card entitled 'SHEFFIELD SHIELD CRICKET / Adelaide Oval, February, 1922. / Victoria defeat South Australia by an Innings and 232 Runs.'. Players names are listed below image on card mount. Photographer's name is also printed below image. It reads 'Krischock / Photo'. Handwritten pencil inscription on reverse reads 'E.R. Mayne [underlined]'. Please note player named J. Wallace appears to be a misprint and it is actually Percy Wallace. Also, player named Dr. A .G. Hartkopf appears to be a misprint and it is actually Dr. Albert Ernst Victor Hartkopf.
