Brief Description
Member's ticket for the Melbourne Cricket Club. It is made from a hard-backed green cover on which is embossed "M.C.C. / 1865-66" in gold lettering on both sides. The inside is printed on one the verso with an image of a batsman taking his stance in front of a set of stumps with a tent in the background, and the inscriptions "MEMBER'S TICKET / Melbourne Cricket Club / For Season 1865-66". On the recto is printed the date issued, ticket number and signatures of the member and treasurer.
