Brief Description
Used red leather cricket ball. Ball consists of two pieces. The ball has been stitched together around the centre with six rows of twine. Ball features two inscriptions in black ink, each on either half of the ball. One reads 'K. P' and is in the centre of one half,whilst the other reads '27.11.85' and is written close to the binding on the other half. This ball was used in a cricket match in the Westernport Bay district in Victoria on the 27 November 1985. The bowler 'K. P.' was struck by lightning whilst delivering this ball and was fatally injured.
