A group portrait of the Melbourne Football Club premiership team of 1900, wearing laced up jerkins, knicker bocker trousers and lace up boots, with 6 men in the back row dressed in suits. The man sitting at centre, team captain Dick Wardill, holds a ball with PREMIERS 1900 inscribed on it in white. The men are pictured standing with a flight of stairs behind them, and a brick wall to the left.
