Brief Description
Black and white photograph with cream window mount featuring a wide-angled action shot of a cricket match in progress. The batsman has just been caught by the wicketkeeper. Photo depicts the Australian wicketkeeper Hanson Carter catching Jack Hobbs (England) during the 1920-1 series. This famous catch is well-known as one of the best that Carter ever took. Printed label affixed to window reads 'Carter's Spectacular Catch in England's first-Innings: the dismissal of Hobbs.'
