Brief Description
Victorian Football League premiership medal awarded to Melbourne Football Club vice-captain Jack Mueller, 1939. Solid gold medal with VFL letters in the centre surrounded by a gold ring filled with dark blue enamel and the inscription "VICTORIAN FOOTBALL LEAGUE PREMIERS". Reverse branded with "SOLID GOLD" and inscribed with "1939 MELBOURNE F.C. J. MUELLER VICE CAPT". Suspension ring affixed to top.
