Brief Description
Leather cricket equipment bag used by Australian Test cricketer Alan Connolly on the 1964 Australian tour of England and subsequent overseas tours. Bag is dark brown leather with lighter brown leather trimmings and handles on the top and sides. Top has central brass clasp with leather straps and buckles on each side. Green and yellow stripes and white lettering reading "A. CONNOLLY" are painted on both front and back. Inside bag lined with white linen. Inner pocket contained Cooks World Travel Service luggage tag for London from Connolly.
