Brief Description
Slazenger 'Challenge' branded tennis racquet used by Ken Rosewall during the early 1970s. The racquet features a black, maroon, cream and gold colour scheme with print. A red silhouette of the number one has been dyed in the centre of the strings. The grip is black with small circular indentations. "CHALLENGE" is featured at the bottom of the racquet head, with a "VIP / VIBRANT INSTANT POWER" logo beneath. "SLAZENGER / SMOOTH" is printed lower down on the handle. A side of the handle features a facsimile headshot of Rosewall alongside his autograph and, "NEW CRADLED CONSTRUCTION GIVES THE SPEED, STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY REQUIRED FOR DAVIS CUP AND WORL CHAMPIONIP PLAY".
