Brief Description
An unused winter Paralympic torch, representing an icicle. The top section is made of glass, where a flame could be seen burning within.' Inside the glass is a geometric copper structure with a silver circular shape above. The center torch section is made of silver and finished to look worn, and features the Salt Lake City Paralympic logo with wording, "SALT LAKE 2002 / PARALYMPICS". The Paralympic theme is inscribed on the lower polished silver section, "MIND BODY SPIRIT." Two holes are visible either side of the upper section, these are used to detach the glass section. A drill hole is also visible, used to hold torch in original frame.
