Brief Description
Silver medal with raised shield in the centre over a 4-armed cross. The cross arms feature three triangular tips, wreath of laurel decorative engravings and "C.C.C" engraved on the on the left, right and top arms. The centre of the shield is engraved with "I. R. M.". Inscription on verso reads "C.C.C./ FIVE MILE ROAD/ RACE WON BY/ I. R. MUNRO/ FASTEST/ TIME/ 4/ 4/ 08". Makers mark stamped on verso at bottom indicating sterling silver.
