Brief Description
A small folded identity card, issued to Australian gymnastic coach Stan Davies for the 1956 Melbourne Olympics. The front yellow and black cover reads, "XVI OLYMPIAD, MELBOURNE, 1956 / IDENTITY CARD / NO 12391," with the 1956 Melbourne Olympic logo in the centre. Inside is a double-page spread with Davies' details, signatures, and a red "GYMNASTIC" stamp. The back cover reads "MELBOURNE / XVI OLYMPIAD, MELBOURNE," with the Olympic rings and coat of arms of the City of Melbourne in the centre.
