Brief Description
A black leather and plastic case with velvety red lining. A removable and adjustable strap is attached with silver metal fittings, with a similarly coloured clasp to fasten the case. "JAPAN" is printed on the strap, and stickers reading,"JAPAN" and "CAS / PASSED / J.G.M.P.C" on base. Inside the lid two fixed labels read, "IAN JOHNSON / MELBOURNED CRICKET CLUB". The binoculars themselves, are black metal and plastic with a strap and four removable lens covers, all with "CARTON" printed, as well as several adjustment dials and fixtures. On the left prism cover plate, "CARTON / OPTICS" and logo is printed in white. On the right prism cover plate there is a list of parameters; "8 x 40 / WIDE ANGLE / FIELD 9 ° / NO 9749".
