Brief Description
Original caricature sketch by Arthur Mailey. Black ink paper with small amount of blue watercolour paint. The subject, possibly Mailey himself is depicted in the centre, wearing a cricket uniform with a perplexed look, holding what appears to be an apple with a gift tag attached which reads, "FROM / I.J". The surrounding text reads, "H'M. MAYBE I SHOULD / HAVE RESTED ON MY / LAURELS / - IF ANY" and "ANYHOW - / HERE'S THE SEASONS / COMPLIMENTS AND / BEST OF LUCK / ARTHUR".
