Brief Description
A black ink, hand sketched farewell card given to Ian Johnson by the Diamond Vision crew, circa 1983. The card is folded, with the front cover reading "FAREWELL / I.J" in large type. A caricature of an older Johnson in suit and tie wearing spiked shoes, smoking a pipe and sitting in a control room, the computer screen opposite reads, "STAND BY / FOR / NATIONAL / ANTHEM" and "DIRECTOR / TORQUAY / GOLF CLUB" to the left. Inside, nine personal farewell messages signed in blue ink: "HAPPY SURFING / I.J / VIC / KEEP STUNNING THEM IAN / ???". "GOOD LUCK / JOEL ??? /".
