Brief Description
Obverse features classical style imagery representing the surrounding inscription, "EQUALITY AND JUSTICE THROUGH FREEDOM", where a man holds a torch representing equality and a blindfolded woman holds a sword representing justice, both are mounted on a horse that has broken free from restraints. The artist's name behind horse tail: "Mészáros". Verso features a design of banksias and bottlebrush, held up by a stake, with inscription: "CENTENARY OF THE GOVERNMENT OF VICTORIA 1851-1951" and in the centre: "PRESENTED TO / I.JOHNSON, ESQ / MEMBER / AUSTRALIAN TEST TEAM / MELBOURNE 1951".
