Brief Description
A deflated rugby league match ball from 1911/12 Australasian tour, presented to Broomham following match against Wales in 1911. Stitched brown leather panels, with rubber insert. Broomham's tour diary (N2017.6.11) relates receiving the ball: "...left for Ebbw Vale...arrived to play fifth match against Wales...defeating them by 28 points to 20...received the ball after match...4000 spectators...very hard game."
