Brief Description
Scorecard for the Test match between England and Australia at Lord's Ground, London, June 24-29 1948. The score card indicates that Australia's final score was 350 to England 215. Both Keith Miller and Donald Bradman's batting scores are printed. On the reverse side of the card is a listing of matches for 1948 season, which were held in June, July and August. Indicative of the war time rationing, there is a special note that says " Spectators during the 1948 season are especially requested to bring their own refreshments, as the supplies available will not enable more than a small proportion of those attending matches to be served".
