Brief Description
Letter addressed to Mr. K. Miller, 11 Commonwealth Parade, Manly, dated 23rd February, 1948. In the letter are the travel details for the 1948 Australian Team tour of England. Mr. D. G. Bradman is listed as Captain of the Team. Indicative of the war time, there are references to food parcels being taken for distribution in England and also notification that soap, towels and sugar are scarce in England and therefore recommends that the team bring their own. The postal address in England is written as c/o Piccadilly Hotel, Piccadilly Circus, London. The letter is typed with indentation of the first line of each paragraph and the paper has become yellow.
