Brief Description
Black leatherbound box bearing the seal of the Royal Mint on the inside of the lid. Inside the box is an MBE medal, consists of a circular centre featuring the head of the King and surrounded by the inscription, "For God And The Empire". On the top, bottom and on each side of the circle there are four fleur-de-lis, with a crown above the top one. The medal hangs from a red ribbon with a pin. Inside the box there is a also a card on which is printed the instructions for wearing the MBE. The reverse of the card has been signed by Keith Miller.
