Circular metal badge with finial crown decoration. Centre of badge carries the logo of the Australian Imperial Forces. Text on medal reads 'ISSUED BY DEPT OF DEFENCE/RETURNED FROM ACTIVE SERVICE'. The number '144150' is stamped on reverse.
