Brief Description
Bronze coloured award in the shape of a large medal. Front of award features a relief image of three footballers contesting a mark. Text in relief encircling top edge of front of medal reads 'THE AGE FOOTBALLER OF THE YEAR'. Inside right edge of front of medal is engraved with small text which reads 'ANDOR & MICHAEL MESZAROS 1972', followed by an engraved symbol or initials. Reverse of award has raised circular sections with holes at left and right of centre to allow for mounting of the award to a frame.
