Brief Description
Bronze coloured circular medal with plastic case. Front of medal carries a relief image of a naked athlete on the front, standing on a plinth. Raised text on left and right of figure reads 'VIRTUS ANIMUSQUE'. Reverse of medal is engraved with the text 'VICTORIAN/CHAMPIONSHIPS/FLYWEIGHT/WINNER/H. NISSEN/1967'. Engraved text on reverse in surrounded by a relief image of a wreath. Raised text around circumference of reverse of medal reads 'VICTORIAN AMATEUR BOXING ASSOCIATION'. Medal case is rectangular, made of white plastic, and is hinged. Top of lid of case carries a simple triangular decoration at centre.
