Brief Description
Bronze coloured circular medal with plastic case. Front of medal carries a relief image of a naked athlete on the front, standing on a plinth. Raised text on left and right of figure reads 'VIRTUS ANIMUSQUE'. Reverse of medal is engraved with the text 'VICTORIAN/CHAMPIONSHIPS/Flyweight/Runner Up/H. NISENBAUM/1965'. Engraved text on reverse in surrounded by a relief image of a wreath. Raised text around circumference of reverse of medal reads 'VICTORIAN AMATEUR BOXING ASSOCIATION'. Medal case is square, made of white plastic, and consists of a lid and a base. Top of lid of case carries a relief image of a basket of flowers. Case is lined with felt.
