Brief Description
Plaque with velvet presentation case. Plaque is in the form of a wood block, decorated with attached metal cricket silhouettes. Small plate at top of front of plaque is engraved and reads 'Paul Sheahan - President, Melbourne Cricket Club/Presented by Alan Isaac, ICC President, June 2014'. Silhouette attached to front left of plaque is of a female cricketer playing a shot while batting. Engraved plate sits beneath female silhouette which reads 'Australia's victorious captain Jodie Fields in/action during the ICC Women's World Cup final 2013'. Silhouette attached to right of plaque is of a male cricketer playing a shot while batting. Engraved plate sits beneath male silhouette which reads 'India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni seals the/ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 with a six'. Plate attached to bottom right hand corner of front of plate is engraved with the logo on the International Cricket Council (ICC). Four felt discs are attached as feet to the bottom side of the plaque.
