Brief Description
Trophy in the form of a decorative metal and glass bowl with lid. Top surface of lid is engraved with the text 'The Craven Filter Trophy/Australian Boxing Federation/FIGHTER OF THE YEAR 1971/Henry Nissen/Australian Commonwealth Flyweight Champion'. Metal bowl section has two decorative, stylised triangular handles, one at either side. Glass insert is a Pyrex dish and also has two handles. Small knob attached to top centre of lid for lifting. Centre section of lid carries a simple linear pattern radiating out like a sunburst from central knob.
