Brief Description
Silver coloured circular medallion in case, with information booklet and cardboard sleeve. Front of medallion carries relief images of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera house at centre, above the words 'AUSTRALIA/2000'. Images are encircled by the text 'CELEBRATING ACHIEVEMENTS IN SPORT', which runs around the circumference of front of medal. Reverse of medal carries a stylised relief image of a menorah at centre, above the text 'COMMEMORATING/2000'. Image is encircled by the text 'S.O.J.O.C. 5760-61 SYDNEY', which runs around the circumference of reverse. Medal case is square with rounded corners and covered in blue felt. Information booklet folds out to a double sided single page and looks at the history of the NSW Jewish community. Cardboard sleeve is white and square, and carries the handwritten text 'HENRY/NISSAN/105' on top surface.
