Brief Description
Silver coloured circular medal with square storage case. Front of medal carries representations of the six Australian state shields, placed in circular formation around an image of a scroll at front centre which reads 'HONOR/CUI/DEBENDO'. Shields on front are superimposed above a circular wreath. Raised text around circumference of front of medal reads 'THE AMATEUR BOXING UNION OF AUSTRALIA'. Reverse of medal carries an image of a stylised scroll engraved with the text 'FLY WEIGHT/1969', superimposed over a wreath. Raised text encircling wreath at top of reverse reads 'AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP'. Housed in a black covered plastic case. Case is lined with white silk and contains a medal alcove lined with red felt.
